Terms & Conditions
Version 1.0 · Effective August 23, 2026
These Terms & Conditions are a binding agreement between Multiform Technology and Design LLC, which offers DemoSignal as one of its products, and the person or business accepting them. By checking the acceptance box during signup, you agree to these terms. If you accept for a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business.
Important subscription terms
Your first 30 days are free. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription automatically continues at $149 USD per month, plus applicable tax, until canceled. The signup and Stripe checkout screens show the applicable trial and billing details before you subscribe. You can cancel online at any time.
1. The service
DemoSignal is a business research and sales intelligence service for roll-off and waste operators. It reviews public project information, identifies contractor accounts that may be worth investigating, and organizes them using customer-provided operating preferences.
Account profiles may summarize project records, contractor information, timing context, public business contact channels, and same-address, close-in-time permit matches involving hauling operators. A label such as historical hauler relationship or historical hauler signal refers only to documented public-record matches. It does not prove a direct vendor relationship, preferred vendor, exclusive arrangement, or current assignment.
Accounts and project signals are not exclusive. The same account or underlying public record may be available to other DemoSignal customers unless a separate written agreement expressly provides otherwise.
DemoSignal provides research and decision support. It is not a broker, contractor, hauler, bidding agent, legal adviser, or sales representative, and it does not contact contractors on your behalf.
2. Business eligibility and accounts
DemoSignal is offered only for business use. You must be at least 18, provide accurate account and billing information, and have authority to act for the subscribing business.
You are responsible for activity under your account, limiting access to authorized personnel, protecting credentials, and promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized use. You may not share access outside the subscribing business.
3. Trial, payment, and taxes
The current Chicago offer includes a 30-day free trial followed by automatic renewal at $149 USD per month, plus applicable tax, until canceled. A valid payment method is required. The trial begins when Stripe confirms the subscription. The checkout process identifies the trial, recurring price, billing frequency, trial-end timing, and scheduled first charge before you subscribe. Each renewal is for one month.
If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you authorize Multiform Technology and Design LLC to charge the payment method on file on the first charge date and monthly thereafter. Stripe processes payments and may apply its own terms to payment processing. You are responsible for applicable sales, use, or similar taxes other than taxes on our income.
We may change the price for a future billing period by giving at least 30 days' advance notice. A price change will not apply retroactively or before the first renewal after the notice period, and we will obtain any additional consent required by law. A failed payment may result in suspension after reasonable notice.
4. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel at any time through the online billing portal. No sales call is required. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current trial or paid billing period, and you will not be charged for a later billing period after cancellation takes effect. If the online portal is unavailable, email david@getdemosignal.com before the applicable charge.
Payments are nonrefundable except where required by law or when we confirm a billing error. We do not provide prorated credits for a partially used billing period. If we discontinue the paid service without cause before the end of a prepaid period, we will provide a prorated refund for the unused portion.
5. No guarantee of opportunity or results
A project signal is not a guarantee that hauling work is available. Public records may not reveal whether disposal has been assigned, who controls purchasing, when work will start, how much debris will be produced, or whether a contractor will respond.
DemoSignal does not guarantee any number of accounts, leads, quotes, contracts, revenue, savings, conversion rate, or return on investment. Labels such as top, signal, fit, confidence, historical, and recommended, along with rankings, interpretations, and suggested next steps, reflect our analysis. They are not guarantees of fact or future results.
6. Customer responsibilities and outreach
You decide whether and how to contact any business. Before acting, you are responsible for verifying project facts, buying authority, service fit, licenses, pricing, capacity, and whether hauling has already been assigned.
You are responsible for complying with laws and industry rules that apply to your calls, emails, messages, advertising, privacy practices, opt-outs, suppression lists, consent records, and operations. Publicly available business contact information does not by itself establish consent to receive a call, email, text, prerecorded message, or automated communication. You must not misrepresent your identity, falsely claim an existing relationship, harass a contact, send unlawful communications, discriminate, or obtain information through deception.
DemoSignal is not a consumer reporting agency, and the service is not a consumer report. You may not use it to determine any individual's eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, government benefits, or another purpose regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act or similar law.
You are responsible for information you provide to DemoSignal and must have the rights needed for us to process it for the service.
7. Sources, corrections, and availability
DemoSignal relies partly on public agencies and third-party sources that can be delayed, incomplete, changed, or unavailable. We may correct, withdraw, suppress, or reclassify a recommendation when better evidence appears.
We may change coverage, delivery frequency, ranking rules, features, or supported markets. We do not promise that a particular number of recommendations will be available in any period. Quality control may reduce the number delivered. We will not materially reduce an active paid plan without reasonable notice unless a legal, security, or source restriction requires faster action.
8. License and acceptable use
While your subscription is active, we grant the subscribing business a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to use DemoSignal for its own internal business development and account planning.
You may not resell or sublicense the service, republish or distribute its database, share access outside the subscribing business, scrape or systematically extract the application, evade access or rate limits, reverse engineer nonpublic systems, introduce harmful code, interfere with operation, or use the service to build a competing product or dataset without written permission.
9. Ownership, customer information, and confidentiality
Multiform Technology and Design LLC and its licensors retain all rights in DemoSignal, including the software, selection and ranking logic, presentation, original analysis, documentation, and branding. Public records and third-party materials remain subject to the rights and terms of their respective sources.
You retain ownership of information you provide. You confirm that you have the necessary rights and grant us a limited right to host, copy, transmit, process, and use that information to provide, secure, support, and improve the service and meet legal obligations. We may use aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify you or an individual for analytics, security, and service improvement.
Each party will use the other party's nonpublic business information only for this agreement and will protect it using reasonable care. This obligation does not cover information that becomes public without breach, was already lawfully known, is received lawfully from another source, or is independently developed. A party may disclose information when legally required and, where legally permitted, will provide advance notice.
If you voluntarily provide suggestions, you allow us to use them without restriction or payment, but we will not identify you publicly without permission.
10. Privacy and third-party services
Our Privacy Notice explains how we handle personal and business information. You should not submit sensitive personal information that the service does not request.
The service may link to or depend on public agencies, contractor websites, hosting services, authentication providers, Stripe, and other third parties. Their services and terms are separate from ours. We are not responsible for third-party content, decisions, security, or availability, but we remain responsible for our own obligations under these terms and applicable law.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service or cancel a subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for nonpayment, unlawful or abusive use, a material security risk, a legal requirement, a source restriction, or a material breach of these terms. When practical, we will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to address a curable breach.
On termination, your right to use the service ends, except for access that continues through an already-paid period after cancellation. Sections that by their nature should survive, including payment obligations, ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnification, disputes, and general terms, remain effective.
12. Warranty disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, DemoSignal is provided as available and without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, noninfringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation. We do not warrant that public or third-party information is complete, current, or error-free.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so this section applies only to the extent permitted by law.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, business, goodwill, or data, arising from these terms or the service, even if advised that such harm was possible.
To the extent permitted by law, the total liability of Multiform Technology and Design LLC arising from these terms or the service will not exceed the greater of $500 USD or the amount you paid for DemoSignal during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
These limits do not apply to fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or liability that cannot legally be limited. Different rules may apply in some jurisdictions.
14. Indemnification
You will defend and indemnify Multiform Technology and Design LLC and its personnel against a third-party claim, damage, judgment, penalty, or reasonable legal cost arising from your outreach or business operations, your unlawful or prohibited use of DemoSignal, information you submit without sufficient rights, your violation of law or third-party rights, or your material violation of these terms. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by our material breach, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.
We will promptly notify you of a covered claim, provide reasonable cooperation at your expense, and allow you to control the defense. You may not settle a claim in a way that admits fault by or imposes a nonfinancial obligation on an indemnified party without that party's written consent.
15. Governing law and disputes
New York law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before filing a claim, each party will make a reasonable, good-faith effort for 30 days to resolve the dispute after receiving written notice. This does not prevent either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief.
Any court proceeding must be brought in the state courts located in Kings County, New York, or, when federal jurisdiction exists, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Each party consents to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts. Nothing in this section overrides nonwaivable law or prevents an eligible claim from being brought in small claims court.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service or law changes. We will post the updated version and effective date. If a revision materially reduces your rights or increases your obligations during an active paid subscription, we will provide reasonable advance notice and, when required, request renewed acceptance. Changes do not apply retroactively.
If you do not agree to an updated version, you may cancel before it takes effect. We will request affirmative acceptance when required by law or when making a materially adverse change to renewal, payment, dispute, or liability terms. For other properly noticed changes, continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance when permitted by law.
17. General terms
The parties are independent contractors. These terms and the accepted subscription offer are the entire agreement about DemoSignal and replace prior discussions about the service. The subscription offer controls only if it conflicts with these terms about the applicable plan, price, trial, or billing schedule. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue.
You may not assign these terms without our written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, reorganization, financing, or sale of all or substantially all of the DemoSignal business. Neither party is responsible for delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control, except for payment obligations.
Headings are for convenience. These terms do not create rights for anyone other than the parties. Electronic acceptance and records have the same effect as a signed writing, and you may retain a copy of these terms. Notices to you may be sent to the account email, and notices to us may be sent to the email below.
